Morgan Review
by Raymond Murray(10/21/2011)

QFest is excited to add to this year's festival a special work-in-progress screening of Michael D. Akers' new film, Morgan. Morgan is a young New York City man who, after an accident leaves him paralyzed, is confined to a wheelchair. He is determined to be independent but soon finds his new world lonely and frustrating. His life takes a dramatic turn when he meets Dean, a street-smart young man. Beginning with their shared interest in basketball, a friendship is developed. But will Morgan allow the possibility of a romance as well? A touching, original romantic drama.
